He is the son of Pastor T.O Olatuyi and Snr Deaconess L.O Olatuyi.

Pastor Daniel's ministry started as a student at a prayer group at his university during his early years. He exemplifies the great commission of Jesus Christ, which is found in Matthew 28: 18-20 (And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. His favorite scripture is 1st Timothy 4:12, which states, "Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, and in purity."
